Priti Patel , MD

Upon graduating from New York University with her Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Neuroscience, Dr. Patel received her medical degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Patel’s affiliation with the Meridian Health Family then began when she completed an internal medicine internship at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Dr. Patel went on to complete her Radiation Oncology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center and New York Hospital Queens, where she held the title of chief resident. Dr. Patel has presented research about breast, gynecological, neurological and lung malignancies at national scientific meetings and has authored several journal articles and book chapters. Her expertise includes Cyberknife radiosurgery, IMRT/IGRT, brachytherapy, and Xofigo. Her professional memberships include ASTRO, ACRO and the NY Metropolitan Breast Cancer Group. Dr. Patel helped achieve ACRO accreditation and the NAPBC breast cancer of excellence for Riverview Medical Center where she currently serves as Medical Director, Department of Radiation Oncology.
